Administrative Assistant

Part Time – Summer Student

 

Superior Fire Alarm Sales & Service is looking for the services of a part time Administrative Assistant to work as part of their team in Thunder Bay. This position is a summer contract, with option to extend employment once proficiency is proven.

As both an office and field support person you will utilize your strong customer service, business and organizational skills in this role.  Duties will include, but are not limited to:  preparing reports, scheduling of inspections, general office administration, maintaining customer databases and other duties as required.

Your administration and support background in a busy environment will be an asset.  Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, typing, strong attention to detail and follow through, are a must in this diverse role.

 

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Post-secondary education will be considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm or Construction industry considered a strong asset.
